Central Georgia Mounted Color Guard...

an all-volunteer group of patriotic riders

who proudly carry the American, Georgia,

Army, Marine, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard

flags in parades & at special events.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, many of our planned appearances were either cancelled or postponed.  But that did not deter the Color Guard. The team managed to visit nursing homes (outside visits, of course) and raised money through our generous sponsors.  With our proceeds, 10% was sent to Wounded Warriors, our annual pledge.  CGMCG is looking forward to 2021 as we hope and pray this pandemic dissipates and is no long a threat.  CGMCG will resume appearances as soon as possible.

The Central Georgia Mounted Color Guard (CGMCG), founded in 2012, is a

Non Profit 501(c)(3) Public Charity.  We have appeared in many local parades,

both in small towns and big cities like Macon and Atlanta.

We have presented the colors at the UGA Equestrian Center,

at the Georgia High School Junior Rodeo Association Southeastern Showdown,

the "Dream Keepers 9/11 Memorial Dedication in Duluth,

at the Sky Soldiers Vietnam 50th Anniversary Commemorative event,

and at the Fallen Heroes of Georgia 10K run, Lake Lanier Islands.

We are proud to be Americans and equally proud of our courageous military personnel, past and present.

At the end of our fiscal year, 10% of our proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

CGMCG is deeply grateful for the sacrifices our military have made to this great country.

We ride in parades and special events to not only acknowledge our military

but to also remind all Americans of the blessings this country has been given

through the services of our Armed Forces.

We carry our flags with dignity as we

honor those who serve.
